A few weeks ago Bob needed to head to LA and we decided to join him. On the way back we decided we'd stop and see the temple. We realized our kids had never been to the LA temple grounds and we've lived here for 3 years! They went straight for the doors to go inside. Not yet kiddos....someday.

And I love this picture of Sierra playing on the steps. Her brothers had hurried off to catch up with daddy and she didn't want to be left behind.
I didn't know this garden was here, it was very pretty!
The kids loved running around on the lawn and enjoying the peacefulness of the temple grounds

Ben kept saying "I've got the Temple in my hands!"
We actually ran into someone else wandering the grounds on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and were able to get them to take our picture!
Unfortunately we didn't get any in front of the Christus in the visitors center because Sierra was TERRIFIED of the statue.
It turned out to be a great spontaneous trip to LA!
