Spring!!!

With St. Patricks day, Spring and Easter all happening in the same week, we decided to have some fun, After the fun we had on St. PAtricks day, we decided to continue it, first we made caterpillars, Andrew was so proud of his...
Then, we colored Easter eggs, that's always a lot of fun
Then of course on Easter, we had an Easter egg hunt, even Benjamin got into the joy of finding eggs, he'd follow Andrew around and get the ones on the floor that he missed, I had anticipated this and I'm glad I did and put goldfish crackers in the ones on the floor, Benjamin thought it was pretty fun to open an egg and eat what was inside...He's STILL finding eggs inhis toys that we missed.
It was so warm last week that we even headed off to the park! We've been taking advantage of the warm days, hopefully the rain will stay away.

March

I awoke this morning to find Andrew snuggled to a pinewood derby car. This has been an ongoing occurance since last week when the car was first created.i believe he is protecting it so that it will win the annual Burn UP Burn Out competition being held this friday night.

Today Benjamin turns 10 months old!!! He is ALWAYS a delight and is even begining to play WITH Andrew. He has also decided that he is no longer interested in baby food and has his own opinion as to when and what he will be fed. We LOVE Ben!!!

Point Defiance

Bob took friday off and so, since we really haven't been south of Seattle yet, we decided to venture that way, we headed to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, about an hour and half from our place. Because I had heard so many good things about it, I had high hopes. Never again will I expect so much from a place. For the price we paid, It was TINY it only took us 2 hours to walk around the place and we saw some animals twice. We did get to see some sharks and walruses and beluga whales, so that I guess was pretty cool, Andrew says his favorite part was the sharks, I must admit, they were pretty cool, I've never seen a shark that close before. To salvage our trip, we took the long way home and rode on a ferry, that always brightens the day, I don't know why it's so much fun, but we always seem to enjoy the ride, maybe it's the view of Seattle as you're pulling in to port. I've included some pictures, thy're not the best because the battery was dying and so we'dhave to turn the camera on, takea quick picture and turn it off, no waiting for the boys to pose. Enjoy!!
