4th of July

We had a great 4th of July.We first hit the parade here in town with some friends. It was a great parade, very culturaly diverse. Andrew really enjoyed the parade, his favorite..according to him...EVERYTHING!! It was a lot of fun. Then that night Bob took us to see the fireworks a top one of the parking garages at the hospital. It was really cool, there was virtually no one there because you have to have a pass to get in the garage. And it's one of the highest buildings in Everett and so we could see A LOT of fireworks, everywhere we turned there were fireworks, we could see all the way across the slough to Lake Stevens and across the Sound on the other side to Whidbey Island the whole horizon was glittering with them. Andrew loved them because they were small and not loud. We headed there because it's just a few blocks from the harbor where one of the biggest displays was going to go off. It was a great site and again Andrew said they were just perfect for him because they weren't to loud. Benjamin was just in awe the whole time. Here are a few pics from the day. These guys had a gun fight in the road in front of us. It was pretty cool

Yes, that is a suped up tractor being pulled by another one because it's to powerful for the street
The motorcycle stunt drivers were really cool too.

This is just an idea of the cultural diversity we saw, there were also chinese dragon dancers, philipina dancers, folk dancers, irish step dancers etc...the african drummers were the boys' favorite, they really got into the drums
This one's for you dad.
