A few fun pics of Daniel from the Fall

Daniel is just SO cute! We love taking pictures of him. Here are some from the past few months.
I had to capture his curls. I LOVE THEM!! I have yet to cut them, Andrews never came back the same, so I'm holding on with dear life to these.

Sierra INSISTING that she can feed Daniel his yogurt....
Learning to feed himself and just being cute
he LOVES popcorn and found Bob's leftovers from the night before and decided he'd eat it for breakfast...so proud of himself.
He stole a package from under the Christmas tree, usually he just runs around with it laughing and smiling, this time he climbed onto the couch and this is what I found.....I guess he'd decided that holding it was no longer good enough.
Enjoying his Cutie orange, attempting to hide it from any scavengers (aka Sierra)
SO mad that I wouldn't give him anymore
Just another typical happy picture of our little guy enjoying grandmas blueberry muffins, I guess I did pretty good!

attempting to eat cereal with a serving fork. He saw it on the counte and BEGGED for it

making christmas cookies at the Petersons with Lisa Miller
Helping to bring groceries in from the garage! SO BIG!!!

Little Helpers

My kids love to help out around the house. Inside and out.
Sierra and Daniel helping with cupcakes...
 Ben admiring our dead tree.....
The tree in our front yard has been DEAD for a while now. Several times a month we would have people stop by and offer to chop it down. We always told them that we were ok and would get around to it. Well, the day after Thanksgiving...it happened! Bob was out putting lights on the house and thought he'd see how dead it really was. As he pushed on it it WIGGLED! This prompted a pushing and pulling of the tree until it finally fell over!
Sierra hiding in the tree....
 Climbing on the tree...
 Ben hiding in the tree....
For some reason there are no pictures of Andrew, he was there and enjoying all the joy of a tree laying in our front yard.

Fall Harvest Party

Ben's kindergarten class had their Fall Harvest Party, Ben was really excited! He was even appropriately named Dancing Bear. I don't know how these amazing teachers stay so amazing with 35 kindergartners! But Mrs. Loomis continues to do the fun things and parties she has ALWAYS done with her class. I'm VERY grateful for that too and help her out when I can.
Here's a picture of Ben with his buddy Mason, they're in primary together too and were pleasantly surprised to be sitting at the same table in Kindergarten too!

Bob's mom got tickets for her, Bob, David and their dad to attend the USC vs UCLA game. But she had to buy tickets to another game. SOOOOO guess who ended up with the tickets!!! THANK YOU PAULA!!!

We took our friends Steve and Shannon Day because we knew they were big USC fans.
the brass playing the fight song
 enjoying ourselves
after the game with the torch all lit up
In honor of Connor, we stayed and watched the marching band, they were AMAZING!! We weren't to impressed with the half time show, but after, standing still, and listening to them head on was AMAZING!!!
THANK YOU AGAIN MOM!! WE HAD A BLAST!!!

Andrew's Jazz Festival

Andrew is an AMAZING pianist! He loves to play and we love hearing him play. When he doesn't want to practice, we just tell him there won't be anymore performances....works EVERY time. He loves to perform for people and he says he doesn't get nervous!
He was able to perform in a Jazz festival and really enjoyed himself, I think next year and actually play a jazz piece.

Halloween

We took the annual trip to the corn maze
I think Ben was enjoying getting lost, what do you think?

Daddy, Daniel and Sierra

Andrew and Ben trying to find their way out
Sierra's costume for the Peterson Halloween party, with the token V for victory sign for USC
Heading off the the party...see, she thinks she needs to do it when ever she wears her cheerleader outfit. The boys wanted to be ninjas, but were only allowed the masks at the Petersons
 Daniel, our pirate parrot
Princess Sierra and Princess MacKensie at the ward trunk-or-treat which is held ON Halloween
Daniel enjoying his haul, I love this age at Halloween, it always takes a few cars before they catch on, and when they do, there's NO stopping them
Andrew always goes around a few times and then enjoys sitting and handing out candy.
Ben coming to dump his loot so that he can go again
Makensie Peterson, Ethan Miller, Sierra, and Austin Bankhead...what fun friends! Sierra asks for them often.

Our own silly dinner

Because the youth had such a good time with their dinner, we decided to have a last minute silly pasta dinner with the Millers.

Jacob eating pasta with tongs, Ethan and Ben getting a kick out of watching
Sierra attempting to eat out of her bucket, can't tell what with though
 Ben attempting with tongs too
Aubrey with a kid cup and Andrew with his baby bottle, this really cracked him up
 GO Andrew!! shovel it in!
Daniel wanted tongs too, good thing we had a lot
The kids LOVED it and are still talking about it. A definite must for next year, and because we live in Bakersfield, we can have it OUTSIDE and invite more friends!!!
