A busy week

So far we are really happy here. Last tuesday we had the first assistant to the High Priests come by with one of the missionaries, then on Wed the missionaries stopped by again. And on Thurs day, the lady that lives across the street, who's LDS, stopped by to introduce herself and welcome us. Then the RS pres and one of her counselors came by. WOW!!! I have never had so many people come by! Then on Sat. was the ward party. We had a lot of fun and got to meet new people. So many people would come up and say hi and introduce themselves. It was AWESOME! Bob is here taking over the director position at Good Samaritan hospital and the old director also happens to be LDS and we're in the same ward. So, people knew we were coming. It was so great! By Sunday, more people knew who we were then we knew! How great! I was worried that, because we're only here temporarily, that we wouldn't have chance to make any friends. The Hill's ( the old director) have already done that for us. It's GREAT! Our prayers have been answered. We love our house, lots of room to spread out and as soon as it's all put together, I'll take pictures. But for now, here are some pictures from the halloween party and the pumpkin patch. enjoy!
Yesterday we went to a local pumpkin patch when Bob got off work and the boys had fun searching for the right pumpkin.

Trying to get them all to look was pointless.

Benjamin thought this was the coolest thing, we didn't even have to coax him, he walked right over and stuck his head in.

They had a barn full of fun activities for the kids and some baby animals.

Andrew enjoyed racing the ducks with the water pump

And of course, they even had pumpkin slingshots! They HAD to give it a try

I've Been Tagged!!

My Sister-in-law Becky tagged me with the specific instructions to open my third picture folder and paste the third picture. So, here it is...
I believe this was last June when Grammy and Grandpa came to visit for Benjamin's blessing and Andrew was waiting for daddy to change after swimming lessons. Check out those CRAZY eyes!!

Now I tag Leauna, Kenna, and Jessie

We've Made it!

A little update. We have made it. We moved in last Friday and have been unpacking ever since. I can't believe how much stuff we have! The movers said we weighed in around 10,000 lbs! WOW!!! I guess that's what happens after 6 years of marriage and 2 kids. We had our internet hooked up today, so now I feel like I'm connected to the world. I've been feeling pretty isolated. No phone, no t.v. no computer and our cell phones don't even work in the house! But,we are still alive and now I'm wondering how good of an idea the tv was, Andrew won't turn it off!

Benjamin

This past week was WONDERFUL! The boys were playing very happily together, for the most part. I took a few pictures to capture the moments.
Here they are playing one of their FAVS Geo trax! I can hardly get Benjamin away to eat! And Benjamin LOVES to eat.

This is where I found Benjamin a few nights ago. He had found Andrew's tray and decided it was a good place to play with his cars.

6 years and counting....

On 10-10-02 Bob Borland and Lisa Pack were sealed for time and all eternity at 10:10AM. What a wonderful day it was, surrounded by so many we loved, in person and in spirit. We missed those who were unable to make it due to missions and school. I have begun to reflect back on that wonderful day 6 years ago and what an enjoyable day it was and even the few little mishaps...thank you to my wonderful sister-in-law who got Bob to the temple on time because his car wouldn't start, I was late anyway. Then stopped at the store on her way to the reception because I had forgotten to get a bouquet to throw. Thanks Becky! And, even though Bob's parents got lost on their way to the reception, and my mom decided SHE needed to go and buy the rolls at the last minute, we still got some family pictures taken. And thanks to Annie who saved the day when the music wouldn't work on our video, then wouldn't work on the CD player, I think everything turned out WONDERFUL! We've been happily married for 6 years. We've suffered job losses. Celebrated when Bob graduated from UCD. Rejoiced when Andrew was born. And again when Benjamin joined our family. Moved 5 times, with move #6 next week. Got excited when Bob got his job with Medi-dyn, which has been a wonderful blessing in our lives. They have been a great company to work for. It has taken us from Denver, to Greeley, to Everett, now to Puyallup. And has taken Bob to Kentucky, New Jersey, Alaska and Texas.
What a wonderful and adventurous 6 years! I can't wait to see what next year and the many years to come will bring. I love you Bob and I'm so ecstatic to be married to my best friend for eternity. You're a WONDERFUL husband and father. the boys LOVE you! You can't even hand Ben over sometimes. And all I hear all day while you're at work is "where's daddy? i want daddy" I love how they run to you and bombard you when you walk in the door. And even after a long day at work, you let them. Your patience amazes me everyday! I love you.

A Wonderful Day

Today has been a WONDERFUL day! The boys have been playing ALL DAY with trains. Benjamin has discovered them again and he won't put them down. I couldn't even get him to stop and eat lunch! Amazing for a child that usually comes running when he hears the word eat. Nope, couldn't even entice him when I showed him a plate full of chicken nuggets!! I did get him to eat, then I wondered HOW I was going to get him to take a nap, we had to walk past the trains to get to his room. He did it! Of course the first thing out of his mouth when he woke up...."choo choos!?" I love how nice they've been playing together today, I'm actually bored, I've packed up all my crafty stuff getting ready for the move and I've read my books....mmmm maybe I'll go make cookies!!!
If youlove hand bags, check out this site, they're giving them away!! http://www.handbagplanet.com/

Benjamin

Benjamin has started repeating what the TV says. He LOVES playhouse Disney and will drop what ever he is doing in another part of the house and run to the TV when he hears the theme song. Dances for a bit, then goes about his business. When the cartoon asks the kids to say something, like "Oh TOODLES!" (courtesy of the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) He happily will repeat it with the characters. The boys have also both been into The Imagination Movers and Choo Choo soul, both Disney musical groups for kids, and I have caught him trying to sing along! I can't believe how big he's getting.
