Is it really time?!?!

I had been ADAMENT that Sierra was NOT going to move to a big bed for a LONG time. Both boys were out just after they turned 2 because we moved and didn't have access to their cribs right away. Andrew continued to nap if I layer down with him or made a deal with him. Ben stopped napping all together. With Ben still home and Sierra and Daniel being so close in age, I knew I was going to need the break and was worried I wouldn't get it if Sierra was out of a crib. Well, she started showing signs of being able to handle it, we could make deals with her. So, when someone gave us a toddler bed we figured we'd give it a try. The first night she ended up back in her crib because she wouldn't stay in her bed. She's stayed ever since actually. Yesterday she didn't take a nap but played on her bed for almost 2 hours. And today just as I was thinking she wasn't going to nap again (she had been playing for over an hour in her room) I peeked in and found her asleep, half on half off. I guess she'll fall asleep if she's tired enough! We'll see how the rest of the week goes.

The kids love going to Andrews practices and games. I don't know why, they get antsy after the first 3 minutes:)

Daniel

Daniel is JUST SO HAPPY!! He loves the swing and basketball. He really loves to watch the older kids run around the backyard. What an amazing little boy we have been blessed with!

Questions?

On the way home from church I was telling Ben that Andrew had gone home sick because he needed to lay down. The following then took place.
Ben "why didn't he lay on a bed at the church?"
Mommy "because there are no beds at church."
Ben "why?"
Then before I could answer....
Ben "then where does Jesus sleep since he lives there?

When I caught Sierra with her binkie in her mouth while she was playing....
Me- "Sierra, can I have your binkie please?
Her response- "I'm sleeping" she then promptly climbed on to the couch and shut her eyes:) too cute!!!

Sierra's Special Day!

2 years ago, March 1, I stepped out our front door on my way to a DR checkup and thought...."what a beautiful day to have a baby!" I was fortunate enough to be right! Of course, she was given a little encouragement, and boy am i glad she was! Our little girl, who we thought would be smaller, was actually 9 1/2 lbs!!

She stole our hearts from the start. She has all the boys wrapped around her little finger. They just can't get enough of her.

She is sweet yet can hold her own against the boys.

Her favorite color is PINK

Her favorite shows are Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, and Little Einsteins

She loves to wear dresses and dance like a Princess

She thinks she's a princess and loves everything about them. No favorite one yet though.

She's a great big sister to Daniel and LOVES him.

Her favorite toys are her dolls and her kitchen, she plays with them ALL the time.

As girlie as she is, she loves to play cars with Ben, but she better get the pink or purple one:)

Her favorite food is spaghetti and hot dogs...but, not together.

Her friends right now are Mackensie Peterson, Ethan Miller, Bret Butler and Austin Bankhead
She's attached to her daddy, but as far as men go...that's about it, she's still pretty hesitant of the young men when they come over;)
