Andrew's Jazz Festival

Andrew is an AMAZING pianist! He loves to play and we love hearing him play. When he doesn't want to practice, we just tell him there won't be anymore performances....works EVERY time. He loves to perform for people and he says he doesn't get nervous!

 He was able to perform in a Jazz festival and really enjoyed himself, I think next year and actually play a jazz piece.

Halloween

Our own silly dinner

Because the youth had such a good time with their dinner, we decided to have a last minute silly pasta dinner with the Millers.

The kids LOVED it and are still talking about it. A definite must for next year, and because we live in Bakersfield, we can have it OUTSIDE and invite more friends!!!

Rapelling with the scouts

Back in October, Bob and the scouts were able to go rapelling on one of their camp outs. Probably one of their favorites.

"etiquette dinner"

For our etiquette dinner for the youth, we had a "scripture dinner" they were to look up scriptures and order from them. We then gave them a variety of utensils to eat with.

It was A LOT of fun seeing the youth attempt to eat with so many off the wall utensils.

Field trips

So far this year Sierra's been on 2 field trips! We first headed to the bugseum (where they make those butterfly gardens you see on TV)

 Another time we headed to the Kern County Fair. Even though it's at the end of September it's always HOT. They have one morning where it's free for preschoolers and grade schoolers. Sierra enjoyed playing in the Kid zone and petting the animals.

Family Pictures

We were fortunate enough to be able to have our family picture done at the Denver Temple. It was extra special because it has been 10 years since we were married there.

 So, here we are 10 years later....
